support and advice
We strive to make the process of honouring a loved one as smooth and stress-free as possible. Our goal is to provide our clients with the support they need during this difficult time, while also helping them to remember their lost loved one with dignity and respect.
We also provide our clients with resources and advice on how to grieve in a meaningful and healthy way, in order to help them cope with their loss. Below is some advice which you may find useful as you embark on your bereavement journey.
Accept your feelings
Grief is a natural and necessary process. Allow yourself to feel your emotions without judgment. Don't try to shut grief out - it's an important part of the healing process.
Reach out to others
Find comfort in your faith, family, and friends. Connecting with those close to you can be a great source of comfort. Sharing your feelings is an important way to cope.
Take care of yourself
Make sure to get plenty of rest, eat healthy meals, and exercise regularly.
Find a support group
Talking to other people who have experienced a similar loss can be helpful. It can be comforting to know that you are not alone.
Honour the memory
Consider creating a memorial to remember the person who has passed away.
Seek professional help
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, seek counselling from a mental health professional.
Find healthy ways to express your emotions
Writing, drawing, or exercising can be helpful and can be a great way to process and express emotions.
Participate in activities
Taking part in activities that bring you joy can help take your mind off of your grief.
Take your time
Allow yourself to grieve in your own way and in your own time. There is no "right" or "wrong" way to grieve.
